The LEOFF I Coalition, working with you has accomplished a lot. Without your phone calls, letters, and e-mails lobbying your legislators, we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish as much as we have.
LEOFF I Coalition worked with other LEOFF I retirement groups to stop bill numbers SB 6563 and HB 2350 from passing, successfully stopping the merger of the LEOFF I Coalition and LEOFF 2 Retirement systems
LEOFF I Coalition funded a legal opinion from Joe Fischnaller
LEOFF I Coalition funded lawsuits that fought against attacks on our pensions
LEOFF I Coalition provided the majority of funding for the Swisher vs. City of Moses Lake to pay LEOFF I medical benefits
LEOFF I Coalition played a major role in funding lawsuits to protect the LEOFF I pension plan that was being violated by local jurisdiction.
